Behind the curtains, the company claims to be Rain Management W.L.L., a firm reportedly licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a Category 3 Crypto-Asset Services Provider.
Our investigation into this platform began with verifying the legitimacy of the operator. Indeed, the Central Bank of Bahrain does list Rain Management W.L.L. as a licensed crypto service provider, with an incorporation date of July 28, 2019. However, the listed official domain is www.rain.com, not Rainbreakout.com.
This discrepancy immediately raises questions. Is Rainbreakout.com an imposter site, a clone, or a strategic rebrand to escape a negative online reputation associated with rain.com and rain.bh?
A closer look at Trustpilot reviews of Rain.com (rain.bh) paints a grim picture. The majority of users have rated the platform with one star, citing serious issues such as being unable to withdraw funds, unresponsive customer support, and allegations of outright theft. Users describe the operators as “thugs” and call the platform a scam.
On Reddit, a thread in r/dubai further supports these claims. Users report exorbitant fees and robotic, copy-paste responses from customer service.
Despite appearing professional, the domain Rainbreakout.com was registered very recently on May 17, 2025. The timing strongly suggests a reactionary move to dissociate from the negative press surrounding rain.com.
Given the identical company name but different domains, and overwhelmingly negative feedback from existing users of Rain.com, it’s highly likely that Rainbreakout.com is an attempt to rebrand a tainted entity. This kind of tactic is common among scam operations trying to escape damaged reputations.
While Rain Management W.L.L. is a legally registered entity in Bahrain, the use of a fresh domain and the attempt to distance itself from negative user experiences are cause for concern. Until more transparency and positive user experiences surface, it is strongly advised to avoid trading on Rainbreakout.com.
